COMPARATIVE



1. To adjectives with two consonants adds er

         Tall - Taller
         Old - older

2. For adjectives that end in the letter e add r
       
          Large - Larger
          Fine - Finer

3. For adjectives that end in y add ier
           
           Early - Earlier
           Pretty -Prettier

4. For adjectives ending in a vowel + one consonant adds consonant + er

            Big - Bigger
            Hot - Hotter

5. If the adjective has two syllables or more used more + the adjective
         
           Modern - More modern
           Interesting - More interesting



SUPERLATIVE



1.  For adjectives with two consonants adds  the + adjective + est
           
             Tall - The tallest
               

2.  For adjectives that end with the letter e adds  the + adjective + st    
             
              Large -  The largest


3. For adjectives that end with a vowel & one consonant adds the + consonant  + est

              Big - The biggets


4. For adjectives that end with y adds the + adjective + iest

              Tidy - Tje tidiest
             

5. For adjectives with two syllables or more use the most + adjective

                Important - The most important
